Luna Kills is a modern metal act combining alternative and nu-metal influences with electronics inspired by game soundtracks. First formed in 2019, the quartet has now taken their first steps on European stages, got playlisted on multiple rock radios in their native Finland, received airplay with the single "slay ur enemies" on both BBC1 and Kerrang! Radio. Frontwoman Lotta Rautiainen's signature style is a unique blend of jazz-influenced vocals and powerful fry screams. Luna Kills' latest album, Deathmatch (SharpTone Records, 2025), has been described as a powerful modern metal record with heavy riffs, catchy melodies, and heaps of emotion. Luna Kills have already opened the door to the gaming world with their music featured in the mobile app Beatstar. Read more about Luna Kills on our recent spotlight article.
Finnish-born Grande Mahogany breaks boundaries by conjuring a sound imbued with the pulsating vitality of funk, the gritty edge of alt rock, and psychedelia. Moving to Manchester, aged 11, further deepened the complexity of his musical tapestry, but now, back in Helsinki, with wah-wah pedals always in tow, Grande Mahogany weaves a swirling concoction of soulful rhythms, groovy melodies, and electrifying riffs. Debut album, As Grande As (Laundry Music, 2024), garnered acclaim from music critics like Anthony Fantano to music platforms such as Colors and UK radio stations BBC 1 and 6. Writing and producing most of the record himself, Grande also directed music videos, designed artwork, and crafted outfits to bring his vision to life.
