Masters of motorik psychedelia, K-X-P, are currently on Europe tour following the release of their new album III, Part One. The band will play shows for example in the UK, France, Netherlands and Germany. Details regarding the dates can be found here.

III, Part One is the followup to last year’s 12” affair History of Techno. The release, which was put out by Öm and Svart Records, features experimental noise legend Mika Vainio providing suitable drones to the album. So far the album has received positive reviews, for example Mixmag rated the album 8/10 and stated that ”with this album they’ve taken a major step towards finally condensing their live energy”. 

Timo Kaukolampi, the frontman of the band commented on the band’s upcoming plans: ” We’ll play lots of shows. There are a few highlights coming like Incubate, Liverpool Psych Fest, Reeberbahn Festival. Off days we spend in Suomenlinna studios finishing K-X-P III Part 2.”
