Käärijä takes home MTV Europe Music Awards’ Best Nordic Act award

On Sunday November 5^th, Käärijä’s already victorious career took another win, when the green-clad “Cha Cha Cha” rapper won the award for “Best Nordic Act” at MTV EMA (Europe Music Awards) awards.

The nominees for the “Best Nordic Act” category featured a total of three Eurovision 2023 artists: Norway's Alessandra, Sweden's Loreen and Finland's Käärijä. The other two contestants were Swedes Zara Larsson and Swedish House Mafia.

The MTV EMA 2023 Awards ceremony was set to be held in Paris yesterday, but was ultimately cancelled due to the latest world developments and security reasons. Instead, the winners of this year’s edition were announced on MTV’s official website.
