Luna Kills and Stoned Statues play The Great Escape 2025
Two great Finnish alternative rock/metal acts will perform at The Great Escape 2025: Luna Kills and Stoned Statues (pictured above). The showcase festival will be held in Brighton, UK this week (May 14 to 17).

Stoned Statues
Stoned Statues is an alternative metal band formed in 2019. Their sound mixes metal and progressive rock together with rock and pop elements and relies on catchy melodies. Lead singer Jenna Kosunen's strong vocals and lyrics along with Markus Hakala's (vocals, guitar) and Allu Tanskanen's (drums) playing create a combination of metal music with punk attitude. Stoned Statues released their eponymous debut album in 2022, and it was followed by the sophomore full-length Guardian in 2023.
Stoned Statues will perform as part of the Alternative Escape program, at the Rock and Metal Alliance showcase, which will take place at The Fiddler's Elbow on Friday 16th May at 9:10 PM.

Luna Kills
Luna Kills is a modern metal act from Finland, combining alternative and nu-metal vibes with electronics inspired by game soundtracks. Frontwoman Lotta brings the audience to their knees with her jazz singing background and incredible fry scream vocals. Their new album Deathmatch (out on SharpTone Records) is a powerful modern metal record with heavy riffs, catchy melodies, and a lot of emotion. Besides their TGE performance, Luna Kills will tour in Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, and Poland in the upcoming weeks.
