Magma’s first Finnish curator is Petri Kuljuntausta
Magma is the new online platform which focuses on showcasing the Nordic contemporary music scene. Launched at the end of 2014, Magma invites Nordic composers and musicians on a biweekly basis to curate a a wide array of content, ranging from interviews and introductions to works, to a section of items of particular and significant interest.
The first Finnish curator is composer and sound artist Petri Kuljuntausta, who discussed his inspirations, including the works of John Cage, visual artist Sami van Ingen, Erkki Kurenniemi and composer Martti Vuorenjuuri. Read the feature on Petri Kuljuntausta here.
