Pentatonix’s new album hits number 5 on the Billboard
An American a cappella group Pentatonix’s new album hits number 5 on the Billboard with 46.000 sales. One of the tracks from the album was written by Joonas Angeria and Thomas Kirjonen with Estonian Kerli Köiv. The track was written on Music Finland’s co-writing camp Song Castle in 2013.
Pentatonix is an American a cappella group of five vocalists originating from Arlington, Texas. Their second release, PTX, Vol. II (2013), debuted number 10 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 for Independent Albums. The latest album that includes a track written by Joonas Angeria and Thomas Kirjonen with Estonian Kerli Köiv debuted number 5 on the Billboard 200.
Producer Joonas Angeria is a young and promising producer. He has signed a deal with US management AAM (Advanced Alternative Media) and has had a publishing deal with HMC Publishing since 2012, and he has produced number one hits for acts like Isac Elliot, Robin and Julie Bergan.
Thomas Kirjonen, better known as Kasmir, is a Finnish musician who has been collaborating with Finnish groups such as HeavyWeight, Sanni and Aste. His solo debut album was released this year from Universal Music in Finland.
