Record number of Finns heading to jazzahead! 2015
Taking place in Bremen, Germany 23-26 April, the annual jazzahead! conference, showcase and trade fair is now celebrating its 10th anniversary. This seminar, titled ”FUTURE JAZZ VISIONS - Aus Finnland to Europe and back” features five renowned speakers: Christine Stephan, editor-in-chief at JAZZTHETIK Magazine who also moderates the discussion; Iiro Rantala, pianist, composer; Dieter Ilg, bassist, agent; Matti Nives, jazzahead! jury member, We Jazz, and Nadin Deventer, JazzFest Berlin, Europe Jazz Network. The seminar takes place on Friday 24 April at 1-2 PM and is part of the official Jazzahead! seminar programme. It is a cooperation between Music Finland and Jazzthetik Magazine.
