Relish Finnish music through these great online concerts

When the coronavirus pandemic is severely hurting the industry, our music scene simply has to do its best to keep going with the tools given. With basically the whole country on lockdown with COVID19 measures, Finnish artists, bands and orchestras have quickly adapted to the situation, transforming their concerts to online shows played for empty seats and streamed through various digital platforms. Whether it’s a broadcast from an actual live venue, the artist's living room, or the practicing premises of an orchestra – it's time for the audience to stay home and enjoy the music from the comfort of their own couches.

On this page, Music Finland curates a list of online concerts from Finnish bands and artists, as well as orchestras, ensembles and composers. The content is updated regularly, as new content pops up online constantly and old links often die quickly.

Side by side, we have brand new content made by artists living under the quarantine during the past weeks, as well as older live shows that we thought you might find enjoyable. Some of these are free of charge, others require subscribing to a media or – as in many cases – buying a ticket, thereby supporting the artists! Some events can be streamed live, and afterwards for a limited time (in which cases you can find the event info on this page), while others are posted online and can be watched whenever you choose. The shows are divided by genre.
