Softengine will represent Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest
Finland’s contestant at the Eurovision Song Contest this year will be melodic pop-rock outfit Softengine. The contestant was chosen in the New Music Competition, which is a TV show by Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE. The group beat off competition from 11 other acts, and will represent Finland in Denmark in May.
Softengine was founded in 2011 and the group signed a record deal with Sony Music earlier this year.
