In addition to symphony concerts, Oulu Symphony Orchestra produces an opera each year in partnership with the Oulu Opera Association, the Conservatoire and the City Theatre. It has recorded the complete orchestral works by Leevi Madetoja, including the ballet pantomime Okon Fuoko, on the Alba label.
