The Finnish Baroque Orchestra specialises in performance on period instruments of music from the 17th century to the early Romantic era. It also seeks novel perspectives on early instruments by performing new music on Baroque instruments. In addition to appearing at Finland's major music festivals, the Finnish Baroque Orchestra has a Baroque festival, the Vantaa Music Festival, of its own managed by its Patrons' Association.
