Henri is the solo alias for successful music producer and songwriter Henri "Hank Solo" Salonen. In his bio, Henri says that the solo project was born, when he "got burnt out by all the pressure the world and I were laying on myself and then one day decided to quit my job". He explains that he "hit reset and moved to our family cabin in the middle of nowhere during the summer" and started making his solo songs, where he channels "his imperfections, all the madness and the sadness". Henri's first album release "Rakkaus", echoing the emotive deep house music of Fred Again.. and Four Tet, was released in June 2023 and followed by the EP "Valo" six months later.

Noana

Producer and DJ Noana, born and based in Helsinki, loves movement and big open spaces. As one third of the group Leu Leu Land he has had releases on Sony Music, Anjunabeats and remix duties for the likes of Giorgio Moroder. Noana debuted his solo project in 2023 through the independent dance imprint Youth Control, a nu-disco, synthwave and house label based in Finland. On Noana's genre-bending and vocal-based tracks, you can hear a big, melodic mix of trance and emotive house music and even traces of indie pop and downtempo.

Yotto

Yotto has already made his debut on the BBC’s iconic Essential Mix, to add to his 5 ‘Essential New Tune’ nods from Pete Tong, and 2 ‘Hottest Record In the World’ selections on Annie Mac’s show. His multifarious remix list includes Gorillaz, Röyksopp and Coldplay. Yotto's debut album "Hyperfall" was released on Anjunabeats label in 2018 and in 2019 he founded his own label, Odd One Out. Yotto's sophomore album release "Growth" saw the light of day in 2023.

Producer and dj Kuokka started releasing music in 2021 and has already gained millions of streams with his circa 40 single releases on labels such as Bounce & Bass, Future House Cloud and Ninetone. Many of Kuokka’s most popular songs are energetic EDM covers of beloved hits by artists like Britney Spears, Madonna, Marshmello and Calvin Harris – and his own compositions also rely heavily on vocal hooks, smooth house beats and atmospheric synth pads.

YSI is the solo project of Helsinki-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Tuomas Soppela. His debut ep "Windstopper" (2021), was followed up in 2023 by the debut album "Amp Head". Matthew M. Williams, designer and founder of the streetwear brand 1017 ALYX 9SM, guest co-produces the album's track "Memory Man". In YSI's dark and experimental music, you can hear echoes from new wave, post punk and dream pop as well as industrial rock, shoegaze and leftfield techno.

Rony Rex

Producer Rony Rex has years of experience as a club DJ, playing both local and international venues, as well as hosting his own radio shows. In 2017 Rony Rex started releasing his own energetic and dancefloor-ready tunes on the Youth Control label. Rony Rex has been coming up with at least a good handful of single releases every year since 2017, with other releases including the EP Fucked It Up (2017) as well as his debut album "10", which came out in 2023.

With no less than eleven albums and EP's under his belt between 2017–2023, beatmaker Kupla (neé Lauri Achté) is born and raised in Helsinki, but based in London since 2013. Kupla has studied classical music and jazz, and recently also picked up the clarinet to spice up his chilled tracks, which have been streaming dozens of millions times on Spotify's popular playlists such as "Lo-Fi Beats" and "Chill Lofi Study Beats", et cetera.

Taking his name from the Finnish word for ‘villain’, Roisto hails from northern Finland, where he inhabits a small studio, filled with old analog synths, tape machines, and 12” disco records. It is within the confines of this musical safe haven that he creates his own stylish brand of disco.

Aavikko

Formed in Siilinjärvi in 1995, synth trio Aavikko's claims to perform "pure 'Disco Muysic', functional music – mere synthetic assemblage of electronic sounds, that’s meant to be used". According to the band – consisting of legendary drummer Tomi Leppänen (Circle, K-X-P etc) along with keyboardists Paul Staufenbiel and Tomi Kosonen – their actual command is very simple: "we play, you dance".

Darude (b. Ville Virtanen) is one Finnish artist who should need no introduction – or at least his best known track, 1999's trance-lite megahit "Sandstorm" – still going strong as an internet meme after 20 years – shouldn't! But Darude's two-decade career is more than that: four albums, dozens of singles and countless gigs around the world. In 2019 Darude also represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Finnish electronic music mainstay Jori Hulkkonen started his career in the early 1990's, releasing his debut album Selkäsaari Tracks on F Communications label in 1996. Hulkkonen has more than a dozen albums and roughly around fifty singles/ep's under his given name, worked in 15 groups and produced music under dozens of different aliases and played hundreds of dj slots. The latest album from the incredibly prolific Jori Hulkkonen is 2021's "Song Birds Refuse To Sing".

Finnish music producer DJVI became a household name in the electronic music scene through the popular mobile game Geometry Dash (released 2013), which has featured quite a few of his tracks, as well as the spin-off games Dub Dash and Dash Till Puff. After more than a dozen years in the game, DJVI has a long discography of songs, as well as an active presence on services such as YouTube. His music incorporates influences from styles like dance, house, dubstep and techno.

Less Gravity (also known by his other musical alter ego Kooma) is a lofi producer who creates beats with calm and chill vibes and a pinch of humour. After a lengthy string of singles in 2028, he released his debut album "Channel Surfing" in 2019. By 2024, the album has already been followed by five more as well as around 150 singles – with his own version of the famous "The Force Theme" from the movie Star Wars among them!

Lawrence Walther a.k.a. Lauri Miettunen describes himself as "a cozy guitarist/composer from Finland", which suits his sound and style just perfectly. Walther made his entry in the lofi beats scene in 2020, and has quickly amassed a discography of about 100 singles and three albums. In 2023 he teamed up with Recalibration Machine and Less Gravity for the collaborative album "Dune Days". His songs are amiable and calming, with bright and vivid guitar melodies taking the center stage.

Electronic producer Recens (Topias Rajala) hails from Oulu, North Ostrobothnia. He started releasing his tracks independently in 2018 and after about 15 singles, caught the ear of Rotterdam-based Soave Records label in 2022. The sound of Recens is chill, ethereal, melodic, melancholic and house-based electronic music that ofter relies on guest vocalists.

Millennium Falck, a self-proclaimed visual time traveller and audio wizard from Finland, promises us "music from Neo Helsinki in the year 2080". On a purely musical note, Millennium Falck's synthwave-dipped future funk and nu-disco echoes the likes of Alan Braxe, Lifelike, College and Daft Punk. And behind the time traveller mask lies Juha “Millennium” Falck, the synthwave artist, mixing and mastering engineer, known for his unique sound that combines elements of 80s nostalgia with modern production techniques and a member of Neo Helsinki, a major synthwave event group.

Eetu Rantakokko and Tino Lainisalo, together known as YES YES are an emerging electronic dance music duo from Finland. Their solid string of single releases started in 2021 and includes a lot of cover versions of international megahits like Montero (Call Me By Your Name), Abcdefu, and Wicked Game, but also original songs, such as All for One.

Orkidea (Tapio Hakanen) has been one of Scandinavia’s leading trance DJs since the early 90s. He is best known for his unique blend of trance and progressive house: credible and firmly rooted in the underground origins of those genres. His music has been supported by a wide variety of DJs from taste makers such as Pete Tong and Sasha to stadium filling titans Armin van Buuren and Tiesto, with whom Orkidea enjoyed sharing the stage too.

Jeku

Adept Berlin-based dj store and vinyl distributor Bordello a Parigi has described techno producer Jeku's (real name: Jesse Perttunen) 2023 EP "Surreality" as "club tracks for DJs looking to lift dancefloors and mind-melters to help lead the crowd to the outer realms". That is a quite accurate description of Jeku's four-song collection of breakbeats, squeaking acid basslines and alienating synth leads. Jeku is a regular DJ in the Helsinki club scene and has releases out on Craigie Knowes, his personal label Non-Temporal and Amsterdam-based One Eye Witness.

Electronic producer Axel Thesleff had his first major hit in 2016 with ”Bad Karma” which has over 20 million streams on Spotify – and over ten times more views on Youtube. Thesleff’s sound combines modern trap drum programming with eastern-tinged flute sounds and mellow downtempo vibes.

Amnesia Scanner

Amnesia Scanner is a Berlin-based Finnish duo, who released their debut ep ”AS” on Young label in 2016, with critical acclaim from Pitchfork, Allmusic, Resident Advisor and many others. In 2016 the mysterious and conceptual electro twosome put out their self-released album ”AS Live” and in 2017 the mixtape ”AS Truth”. 2018 saw the release of their acclaimed album "Another Life" and in 2019 they collaborated with Bill Kouligas on "Lexachast". The duo's 4th album "Strobe.rip" was released in 2023.

Synthwave artist Ferus Melek’s musical journey traces back to his childhood, where a deep admiration for computer game music took root. Influenced by game music composers like Martin Galway, Rob Hubbard, and Ben Daglish, he found inspiration in their rich and melodic compositions, despite the limitations of the technology they worked with. Detalji is a Helsinki-based artist, producer and sound designer known for her self-written anthems dedicated to the club culture as well as cravings for substances and intimacy. Strongly influenced by 1990s techno music and IDM, Detalji builds her songs in a progressive manner combining pop hooks with raw synths. Detalji released her dancefloor-friendly debut ep "SEX" in March 2018, followed by the "Ravenous" EP in 2019. After a handful of singles, Detalji's debut album "Truly" was released in 2023.
