One of the leading names in the phonk genre, DJ FKU (also known as Skorde) rose to streaming fame with the song "MTG - PISTA TOMA", a collaboration with RXDXVIL released in 2023. With his unique blend of phonk, drum and bass, and funk, DJ FKU has gained massive amounts of plays on Spotify – being the biggest Finnish streamer with over 9 million monthly listeners in 2024 – and TikTok. The anonymous (no pictures available), young and prolific artist releases new music weekly with his countless aliases, with DJ FKU being the most prominent.

Producer and dj Kuokka started releasing music in 2021 and has already gained millions of streams with his circa 40 single releases on labels such as Bounce & Bass, Future House Cloud and Ninetone. Many of Kuokka’s most popular songs are energetic EDM covers of beloved hits by artists like Britney Spears, Madonna, Marshmello and Calvin Harris – and his own compositions also rely heavily on vocal hooks, smooth house beats and atmospheric synth pads.

Orkidea

Orkidea (Tapio Hakanen) has been one of the leading trance DJs in the Nordic region since the early 90s. He is best known for his unique blend of trance and progressive house: credible and firmly rooted in the underground origins of those genres. His music has been supported by a wide variety of DJs from taste makers such as Pete Tong and Sasha to stadium-filling titans Armin van Buuren and Tiesto, with whom Orkidea enjoyed sharing the stage too.

Synthwave artist Ferus Melek’s musical journey traces back to his childhood, where a deep admiration for computer game music took root. Influenced by game music composers like Martin Galway, Rob Hubbard, and Ben Daglish, he found inspiration in their rich and melodic compositions, despite the limitations of the technology they worked with. This early fascination with synthetic sound sparked Ferus Melek’s passion for electronic music, which is now apparent in his current work. Producer and songwriter Devinity (Joel Pirinen) creates music based on heavy hitting house grooves, bright and rhythmic pianos, and the usage of organic instruments in an EDM context. Devinity himself describes his style to be ”a mixture of pop and electronic music that fits both radios and clubs in a perfect manner”. Devinity has made international collaborations with artists such as Viva La Panda (aka Alfons), DAZZ, and CALVO.

Psylla is the project of Helsinki-based producer Aleksi Kiiskinen, known for his experimental approach to electronic music. Combining unconventional sounds with a broad range of influences, Psylla moves across genres with a distinctive and textured sound. In addition to electronic production, Kiiskinen plays traditional instruments like guitar and drums. His work has received recognition from artists such as Disclosure, Baauer, RL Grime, and Mr. Bill. Alongside his solo music, he also mixes, masters, and produces for other artists, highlighting his versatile skills. His track "Rush" has gained success after being licensed to an Apple advertisement.

Somepoe is a DJ and producer from northern Finland and a graduate of the Red Bull Music Academy. He has performed in a variety of settings, ranging from venues in northern Europe to clubs in New York City. Somepoe's music combines elements of UK Garage, 2000s r&b samples, and influences from his northern background. His track "Needed U" was recently featured on a mix by Oneman for Fabric London. Somepoe's work has received support from artists such as A-Trak, Benji B, and Brodinski.

Jeku

Adept Berlin-based dj store and vinyl distributor Bordello a Parigi has described techno producer Jeku's (real name: Jesse Perttunen) 2023 EP "Surreality" as "club tracks for DJs looking to lift dancefloors and mind-melters to help lead the crowd to the outer realms". That is a quite accurate description of Jeku's four-song collection of breakbeats, squeaking acid basslines and alienating synth leads. Jeku is a regular DJ in the Helsinki club scene and has releases out on Craigie Knowes, his personal label Non-Temporal and Amsterdam-based One Eye Witness.

Zarg

ZARG started making music with a FL Studio Mobile as a 16-year-old. Later he got his hands on an actual copy of FL Studio 20 and started making trap and hip hop beats, posting them on YouTube. Next stop was to release lo-fi/chill beats on Spotify, from which he moved on after two albums and over 30 singles. Now Zarg makes electronic music with a wide palette: house, UK garage and much more – you can't really tell what his next track will sound like. ZARG is equally inspired by Finnish rock, grunge and old school rap as he is by Daft Punk, indie and house music.

Finnish music producer DJVI became a household name in the electronic music scene through the popular mobile game Geometry Dash (released 2013), which has featured quite a few of his tracks, as well as the spin-off games Dub Dash and Dash Till Puff. After more than a dozen years in the game, DJVI has a long discography of songs, as well as an active presence on services such as YouTube. His music incorporates influences from styles like dance, house, dubstep and techno.

Anton Sonin, aka SØNIN, has cut his teeth as a producer in a studio space in Helsinki, shared with compatriots like Super8 & Tab and Yotto. He also worked with Super8 & Tab on their iconic Anjunabeats single ‘Black Is The New Yellow'. More recently, he's released on the label as part of the Rising EP series, contributed to gardenstate's 'Inspirations' album, and remixed Super 8 & Tab's 'Mercy' as part of the tenth anniversary celebrations for their ‘Empire’ LP. He also performed at Above & Beyond's Group Therapy Weekender London festival.

With a musically rich background, Sattalite combines experience with versatility, incorporating a range of influences and styles into their sound.

Minna Koivisto a.k.a. finnjävel is a sound artist, music producer, and musician living and working in Helsinki and Stockholm. In their work, finnjävel explores queer as a sonic space by expanding and cherishing the in-betweens, pauses, and afterthoughts in the midst of conventional forms of music, creating soft, inclusive, and kind soundscapes. they are specialized in adapting electronic music into an expressive live experience. "Odotus", Koivisto's debut ep as finnjävel was released in Spring 2026. They have also been a part of Fever Ray's touring band.

Electronic music producer and dj Lumi got a flying start for her career in 2024. Already before her debut release, “Look The Other Way” released on Octopus Records in early 2024, Lumi had performed alongside dj's like Pan-Pot, Marie Vaunt, Korolova, Tiga, Teenage Mutants, and Will Clarke. The single charted at #3 on Beatport’s Indie Dance charts and garnered impressive stream numbers, making it to over a dozen editorial playlists. She has also been featured in outlets like DJ Mag UK, LA Weekly, and Techno Germany.

Discoteca Fatale is a pseudonym and brainchild of Lisbon-based Finnish producer-artist Esa Klemola, created from music made during the lockdown months of 2020. A lifelong analog enthusiast, a fan of 80s synth pop, indie, and electronic music in general, and a former music journalist and DJ, Klemola has a musical background in various Finnish alternative bands, ranging from reggae and rock to house.

Winter Games

As massive dance music fans for most of their lives, the Winter Games duo live and breathe the UK dance music culture. Hailing from Lapland, it’s only natural that they’ve played sets at the local fells and on sea ice, as well as the hottest clubs of Helsinki. Winter Games' tracks have been featured on BBC Radio 1 and supported by DJs such as Sarah Story, Danny Howard, and Jaguar, and the duo recently made their UK club debut when they played Lau.ra's Wonk Club and packed the London club This House Party. The spring light, the snow, and the midnight sun bring a brighter side to the duo’s music.

Klas-Henrik Lindblad, a Finnish DJ and producer now based in Berlin, is a man with various aliases – out of which Sasse may be the best known. Under his Freestyle Man guise, Lindblad mainly releases deep house tracks which are sometimes jazzy and sometimes more minimal. Trance music duo Super8 and Tab – producers and DJs, Miika Eloranta (Super8) and Janne Mansnerus (DJ Tab) – teamed up in 2005 after collaborating on their singles, "First Aid" and "Helsinki Scorchin'. Through labels such as Anjunabeats and Armada Music, the duo has released five studio albums, six compilation albums, and over 100 singles. They've also collaborated with artists like Armin van Buuren, Cosmic Gate, Tritonal, and BT, and have produced remixes for acts such as Above & Beyond, Paul van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, and Darude. They've hit stages at huge international festivals like Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, and A State of Trance.

A long string of single has followed since, leading up to the release of the 2023 EP's "Belief Systems" and "GoGetter". In his music, Glayden candidly combines the aesthetics of Y2K era pop with ethereal eurodance, euphoric club music, and narcotic rap, not far removed from his Swedish peers Ecco2k or Bladee from Drain Gang.

Less Gravity, also known by his other musical alter ego Kooma, is a lofi producer who creates beats with calm and chill vibes and a pinch of humour. After a lengthy string of singles in 2028, he released his debut album "Channel Surfing" in 2019. By 2024, the album has already been followed by five more as well as around 150 singles – with his own version of the famous "The Force Theme" from the movie Star Wars among them!
